I was born and raised in Fredericktown, Ohio. I moved abroad in 2005 for what was supposed to be a year. I decided to stay a few more years and ended up living abroad for 13 years in China. I remember taking photos during my youth with a hot-pink camera and drifted away from photography for many years.
After moving to China, I’ve spent the better part of a decade quietly practicing my craft. I began with landscape photography to capture the scenery that inspired me. Over the years, I eventually gained confidence in my skills as a documentarian. I believe I have the required skillset after all of these years to provide high-quality imagery for your memories. The best way to describe myself and my work is “infinitely passionate”. I live for being my best self for my clients by continuously learning and improving my craft.
Having a camera in hand capturing moments in time is where I feel at my best self. When I capture a special moment, I imagine how it would look on a wall in your home or in a photo album. The photos I take for my clients are the same quality I hang on my walls and put in my photo albums.
